Why is there no tackle football for 2024?

2024 is the first season CBYAA will have athletics since COVID. The previous association disbanded and required new volunteers to manage the organization; as such, it is a year of foundational skills and rebuilding the program. Our hope is that tackle football will return in the 2025 season.

 

How long is the season?

The season is anticipated to run from August (practices) through October.

 

Will there be uniforms and gear?

For 2024, there will not be uniforms issued. Players will receive a Team T-shirt (to keep) and wear their own pants or shorts as well as shoes.

 

What are the times for practices and games?

Practices and games are anticipated to be one evening per week and Saturday mornings. Schedules will be decided and communicated after sign-ups are completed. 

 

Will there be competitions for cheer?

This is undecided at this time. 

 

Will cheer uniforms be issued? 

YES! Uniforms will be issued; parents will be expected to provide bloomers and shoes.
