The 2025 season is here!

We "ARRRGGHH" so excited to continue our mission to keep local youth engaged and active!

Flag Football and Cheer for youth aged 5-12 yrs (as of January 1, 2025) are invited to join for another season of FUNdamentals!

Games begin Saturday September 6, 2025.

 

Please remember to have your athlete dressed for the conditions, with athletic shoes / cleats as directed by your coach.

Athletes must also have their mouthguards.

When is Registration?

June 14, 2025 - Aug 16, 2025

 

How long is the season?

The season is anticipated to run from August (practices) through October.

 

What are the age groups?

Flag Football (co-ed):

5-12 years old (divisions are 5-8, 9-12)

Cheer (co-ed):

5-12 years old (divisions are 5-8, 9-12)

*Based on child's age on January 1, 2025*

Will there be uniforms and gear for flag football?

For 2025, players will receive a Team T-shirt (to keep) and wear their own pants or shorts as well as shoes.

Will cheer uniforms be issued? 

YES! Uniforms will be issued; parents will be expected to provide bloomers and shoes.

 

What are the times for practices and games?

Practices and games are anticipated to be one evening per week and Saturday mornings. Schedules will be decided and communicated after sign-ups are completed. 

 

Will there be competitions for cheer?

This is undecided at this time.

How much will it cost? 

Flag Football (co-ed): $70

Cheer (co-ed): $70

Why is there no tackle football for 2025?

2024 was the first season CBYAA had athletics since COVID. The previous association disbanded and required new volunteers to manage the organization; as such, we need time to reinforce foundational skills and rebuild the program. Our hope is that tackle football will return soon.
